Qualcomm is now introducing Quick Charge 5+, which should deliver the same lightning-fast performance as Quick Charge 5, with greater efficiency and cooler operation.
Quick Charge 5+ adapts voltage and current to the device’s needs, using lower voltage at higher current (up to 20V and 7A) to minimize heat generation. Additionally, it will support upcoming devices that will be revealed at Snapdragon Summit 2025 (September 23-25) and will be backward-compatible with Quick Charge 2.0, 3.0, 3.0+, 4.0, 4.0+, and 5.
Quick Charge 5+ will roll out to accessories later this year.
