Qualcomm’s technology summit starts today and anyone interested in learning about the company’s upcoming Snapdragon processor, as well as more of the chipmakers offerings, might be interested in checking out the event’s keynote livestream
The keynote, which will feature Cristiano Amon, Qualcomm’s executive vice president, starts at 10:30am PT/1:30pm ET is set to stream on the manufacturer’ s website.
Qualcomm is expected to reveal its upcoming Snapdragon 845 mobile processor, which is rumoured to first be featured in Samsung’s Galaxy S9, at least in locations where the device doesn’t include its proprietary Exynos processor.
The Snapdragon processor is to be comparable to Huawei’s Kirin 970 processor, the chip found in the Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro. The 845 is also likely comparable to Samsung’s Exynos 9810.
