The event that Google and Android enthusiasts have been waiting for is finally here.
Google I/O 2017, the tech giant’s annual developer conference at the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, California, is set to go down today.
The conference kicks off with its inaugural Google keynote presentation. The live stream Google I/O 2017’s is available right here in this story.
Google I/O keynote is set to start at 1pm EST/1oam PT and continues until Friday the 19th. The developer keynote starts at 4pm EST/1pm PT.
We are not, however, expecting there to be much hardware at the event, though recent rumours indicate we could see a standalone VR headset.
We are expecting to see changes and announcements about Android O, but doubt we’ll find out what the O stands for until later in the year. Google will likely announce changes to Google Home, Google Assistant, AI and Fuschia, the rumoured linux-based operating system the company is working on.
Stay tuned for more information from Google I/O.
