Google's Live Cases are now available in Canada for $50 [Update]

Google’s customizable Live Cases are now available in Canada via Google’s online store at the price of $50 CAD.

There are three different types: ‘Artworks Live,’ ‘Photos Live’ and ‘Places Live.’ The Artworks case allows you to choose from a collection of artwork created by artists, illustrators and photographers.

With the Photos case, users can choose to customize their case with one of their own images. For both Artworks and Photos, an accompanying live wallpaper can be downloaded that shuffles through a gallery of images.

Last but not least, the Places case allows users to feature a favourite location, choosing from several decorative styles for the map. An accompanying live wallpaper can show your current location in the same style.

The cases are available for Pixel, Pixel XL, Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P devices, and the live wallpapers require Android 4.4 or higher.

The cases were first officially launched in the U.S. in April 2016.

Update 09/19/16: Those who pre-ordered the Pixel and Pixel XL can now order a Live Case from the Google Store.
