Google is making it easier for individuals and businesses to host video conferences.
In a new update to its popular Hangouts chat app, the company has made it possible to invite people who do not have a Google account to video chat. To take advantage of this new feature, all you need to do is send someone a Google Calendar invite. The recipient then simply clicks on the included link and fills in their name when prompted to do so.
In the interest of security, Google has made it so that hosts can accept or deny entry requests. The update is rolling out today.
