If you hate the thought of buying a piece of technology in-person, I have some good news.
After a period of in-store only availability, the OnHub router is now available to purchase from Best Buy’s online store.
This is of course the $269 router from Google and TP Link that got those of us at MobileSyrup pretty worked up when it was originally announced.
Along with featuring a 1.4GHz processor and 1GB of RAM for speedy operation, the device is unique in that all administration is done through a smartphone app called Google On. The app, downloadable from the Play Store and iTunes App Store, takes new OnHub owners through initial setup and offers a variety of troubleshooting options should the need arise.
Those that prefer to buy straight from Google may have a bit of a wait. A visit to the Google Store says that the product is “coming soon”. The OnHub originally launched on August 31.
