LG was one of the first manufacturers to bring an Android Wear-powered device to market and now it’s the cheapest. The G Watch smartwatch is rectangular in design and has a 1.65-inch IPS display (280×280 resolution), a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 4GB of storage, 512MB of RAM, and a 400 mAh battery that claims to last for a whole day.
The device was officially launched on July 8th for $249 through Google Play, with TELUS and Videotron selling the device shortly after. While we saw a quick drop last week at TELUS, the G Watch has been further discounted to a low $149.99 including shipping.
There’s no reason for the quick reduction in price, but it’s certainly worth considering picking it up if you’re an Android user.
