The Galaxy Nexus is nothing if not a versatile beast, and the new superphone which is soon launching on Rogers, Telus, Mobilicity, WIND, SaskTel and Videotron, received a shiny new version of Koush’s ClockworkMod. This is the recovery that allows you to flash custom ROMs, kernels and back up your files for those with “crackflashing” proclivities.
The procedure is pretty easy once you’ve unlocked the bootloader, and if you’ve flashed one custom recovery, you’ve flashed them all.
Follow the procedure at RootzWiki. I’ve just put it on my Galaxy Nexus, and while it’s not quite as optimized as it might be, it’s a great first step. Just remember to download the GSM version!
