When pictures of the Nexus 7, Nexus 4, and Nexus 10 arrived on Picasa they were all rumours at one point, but eventually turned out to be true. A new set of pictures of people frolicking in the winter snow has popped up on Picasa and the EFIX information shows it was captured by a “Nexus 3” by Samsung. The pics were uploaded on October 28th by a Google Switzerland employee. Sure, a bit confusing as nothing on this device name has surfaced in the past. However, the resolution is 2048 x 1536, which represents a camera that has a 3.2MP shooter.
Perhaps this “Nexus 3” device was going to be announced at Google’s postponed Android event, right next to the Nexus 4 and 3G Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 tablets.
Update: According to John Mueller, the person who posted the pic, stated on Google Plus that “Just to be clear, the EXIF data here is modified. Sorry for the confusion.” So there you have it. No Nexus 3.
