Amazon Prime has surpassed over 100 million subscribers around the world, company CEO Jeff Bezos announced in an annual letter to shareholders.

This marks the first time Amazon has publicly disclosed membership figures.

However, Bezos remained silent on specific numbers for its Prime Video and Music services, which are included in the Prime membership at no additional charge. Instead, he simply wrote that “Prime Video continues to drive Prime member adoption and retention,” while Amazon Music “continues to grow fast and now has tens of millions of paid customers.”

In Canada, an Amazon Prime membership is priced at $79 CAD-per-year and offers free two-day shipping or free same-day or one-day delivery to select areas.
