15 glorious pictures of the Google Experience store at Best Buy

Google has embarked on a new direction and is now selling its own products in Canada through a partnership with Best Buy Canada.

This initiative is a North American first and there are currently four of Google’s “shop within a shop” locations: Mississauga (Heartland Town Centre), Calgary (Deerfoot Meadows), Edmonton (South Edmonton Common), and Vancouver (2220 Cambie Street location). Each location is approximately 700 square feet and is designed to be inclusive and immersive.

In addition, Best Buy and Google opened ten smaller locations across Canada in October with a goal to offer those interested in experiencing the latest Google hardware firsthand, such the Pixel and Pixel XL, Daydream View and Chromecast Ultra.

Similar to other carriers and manufacturers in Canada, Google will be hosting special workshops on each of its products and services, with the option to book 1:1 appointments with “Google Guides” for tech help.

Janell Fischer, director of retail marketing at Google said, “We’re proud of the collaboration with Best Buy and their new Experience Stores, particularly as the concept aims to enhance the traditional way of shopping and aligns with Google’s immersive approach.”
