Galaxy S7 and LG G5 listed on UAE gray market reselling site

The full retail versions of Samsung’s Galaxy S7 and LG’s G5 were briefly listed on the United Arab Emirate (UAE) equivalent of Craigslist, Dubizzle/OLX, before disappearing a little over an hour after their original posting.

The enterprising lister somehow got their hands on the still unannounced LG G5 and Galaxy S7, and was attempting to sell both smartphones online before their February 21st reveal date.

The images included in the online ad give us the best look at the LG G5 and Galaxy S7 yet, confirming a variety of details that have leaked over the last few weeks.

The G5 seems to feature the often-rumoured dual lens and fingerprint sensor on its rear, and the S7’s design seems to be in-line with recent leaks and speculation.

The UAE seller listed the LG G5 for 2500AED (approximately $945 CAD), the Galaxy S7 for 4198AED (about $1587 CAD), and the Galaxy S7 edge for 4500AED ($1701 CAD).

Photographs of both smartphones don’t reveal either device’s technical specifications or boxes.

Interestingly, the often-rumoured expansion friendly hub on the G5 doesn’t seem to be pictured either.
