Xbox Canada has announced that subscribers of the premium Xbox Live Gold membership will be able to play PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds this weekend for free.
Xbox One gamers will be able to experience the hit battle royale online multiplayer game from now until Sunday, April 22nd.
PUBG, which is currently still in early-access on Xbox One, will otherwise cost $36.99 CAD on the Microsoft Store. An Xbox Live Gold membership, meanwhile, begins at $11.99 for a one month subscription.
Beyond this free-to-play weekend, Xbox One PUBG players can next look forward to the addition of Miramar sometime in May. The desert-themed map first rolled out to PC PUBG players in mid-December as part of the game’s 1.0 version launch.
Outside of Xbox One and PC, gamers can also try out the mobile-optimized, free-to-play version of PUBG that launched on Android and iOS last month.
