Last week Huawei sent out invites for an event related to its upcoming P-series smartphone. While the Chinese company has not officially announced the name of its handset, rumours indicate it will likely be called the P20.
The invite says that the P20 may offer a triple-lens rear camera setup. Previous rumours hinted at the camera setup and the invite seems to reinforces this. “See Mooore With AI,” reads the invite, which points to the P20’s camera setup’s capabilities with the Kirin 970’s neural processing unit.
While Huawei’s Mate 10 Pro is the company’s premium flagship handset offering, the Huawei P-series is camera and appearance-focused, according to speculation.

After yesterday’s P20 Lite FCC documents, OnLeaks and TigerMobile were able to put together a render of the phone. The rendering shows off the P20 Lite’s iPhone X-style notch and vertical rear ducal camera setup.
The FCC listing also indicates that the P20 Lite features a 2280 x 1080 pixel resolution and a 2,900mAH battery
Huawei will confirm the rumours about the P20 lineup when it unveils the P-series lineup on March 27th in Paris, France.
