Today, a month after its release, LG’s latest flagship, the LG G5, is on sale at several Canadian carriers.
The cost of the phone has been discounted by a respectable $100 when bought on a two year contract, which brings its price down to $200 at Bell, Telus, SaskTel and MTS. Wind, Videotron and Eastlink have it even lower at $149, $179 and $0, respectively.
The LG G5 comes in either Silver or Titan colour variants and features a 5.3-inch QHD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port, microSD card slot, two separate rear-facing cameras – a 16 megapixel 35mm equivalent and a 8-megapixel wide-angle camera lens – a 2,800mAh battery and 32GB of internal storage.
The G5 officially launched on April 8th in Canada.
