Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy s6 edge+ owners in Canada have waited patiently for Android 6.0 to arrive on their device, and good fortune has finally come today.
Finally, after many months of teased release dates, Marshmallow is now available to download on both of these Android-powered smartphones.
This update – Android 6.0.1 – should be available to most owners in Canada and so far we’ve been informed that Bell and Telus users have received a notification.
If you have either the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy s6 edge+, press Menu > Settings > About Device > Software Update > Update.
Update – April 18th: Wind Mobile customers are now reporting that Galaxy Note 5 has finally received Marshmallow.
(Thanks, Nicholas and to everyone who sent this in!)
