Apple’s retail stores are often the best places to stop in pick up an Apple device or accessory. For the last couple of years in the US, Apple has been testing an even faster way to buy its wares, called Personal Pickup. The service has the added benefit of being sure a product you want is actually in stock when you visit the store.
Today, Apple rolled out the Personal Pickup program to two new countries: Canada and Australia. The program works via Apple’s online store, and through the Apple Store app, for most of the company’s products. This includes Macs, iPhones, iPads, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and more.
If a product is currently in stock, the store will get the item ready and let you know that you can pick it up right away. Otherwise, you’ll be notified when your purchase has arrived and is available for pickup. This change is live already, so you can place your Personal Pickup order now.
