Microsoft is working on two high-end Lumia phones to launch alongside Windows 10

According to a report from website Unleash the Phones, which was corroborated by The Verge, Microsoft is developing two new high-end Lumia smartphones that will be released later this year.

The two devices are codenamed Cityman and Talkman, respectively.

The former is set to be Microsoft new flagship device. According to the two publications, Cityman will come with a 5.7-inch QHD display, a Qualcomm octa-core processor (likely a Snapdragon 810), 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a 20-megapixel rear facing camera. It will also have a removable back cover that will give its owners access to the phone’s 3300 mAh battery and microSD slot.

Talkman, on the other hand, is set to ship with a 5.2-inch QHD display, a hexa-cora processor and a smaller 3000 mAh battery cell. Aside from those differences, however, the two phones are largely similar when it comes to specs.

Both phones will ship with Windows 10. Microsoft said last week that the phone version of Windows 10 will arrive later than its desktop counterpart. Additionally, both phones are said to support Continuum, which allows a Windows 10 PC to connect with a Windows Phone device using an HDMI cable and take advantage of the extra screen real estate.
