There is little LG can do today to make its next flagship a surprise. This 5.5-inch Android has been one of the most leaked devices since the HTC One M8, and the G3 has already been a heavily marketed device by the manufacturer as it’s appeared in a number of teaser videos.
The latest round of marketing materials to find its way online, courtesy of PhoneArena, confirm many of the previous leaked specs: 5.5-inch QuadHD (2560×1440) display (538ppi), 13MP camera with a dual LED flash and “OIS+ LaserAF” — optical image stabilization and laser auto-focus — wireless charging, “lightweight metal housing,” Quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, Knock Code, 1W loudspeaker, 3,000 mAp battery. There will also be a new flatter UI and the docs also show a new LG Health app en route.
In addition, it seems that LG is taking a page from BlackBerry’s keyboard as it has the power to “learn from you and thinks with you.” Finally, the go-to-market packaging has shown itself to have a resemblance of the metal housing.
