Rogers recently exclusively released the Motorola Moto X in Canada this week. The device is the latest Android to become available on their lineup and as expected it comes with an unlockable bootloader.
The Rogers Moto X has officially beed added to Moto’s “Bootloader Unlock Program” and gives users the option to root their device and install custom ROMs, but know that going this route will cancel out your warranty. Moto states on their site that “Unlocking your bootloader is not for the faint of heart,” and that “your device is no longer covered by the Motorola warranty,” plus that “you have only yourself to blame.”
Check out our in-depth review of the Moto X here. We really like it.
