Google has also announced Drive for iOS, a fulfillment on the “all-ecosystem” promise for the cloud sync software.
The app will be available for iPhone and iPad, and has been created with the larger screen size of Apple’s tablet in mind. They have integrated some great optical text recognition features to the app, so you can search from within a PDF file or context-aware images.
Coming later today, Google Drive for iOS will be a free download. We’ll update this post when it is available.
Update: That was fast… Google Drive for iOS is now available. It’s compatible with iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and requires iOS 5.0 or above. Download it here.
