Here’s a bit of good news to start off the week. Rogers just announced and LTE expansion in in Calgary and Halifax, but also noted a slight update regarding a couple of upcoming handsets.
It’s already known that the Nokia Lumia 900 LTE will be launching “early April” for $99.99 on a 3-year, probably on the 10th. In addition, Rogers previously announced that the HTC One X will be available sometime “this Spring”, but they never announced a date. Ever so quietly at the bottom of their press release was “This month, Rogers will launch two new exclusive smartphones including the first Windows LTE smartphone — the Nokia Lumia 900 and the HTC One X — the first smartphone in Canada designed with Beats Audio for an incredible audio experience.”
There was no word on the prices of the One X – but two new LTE devices will be hitting the shelves at Rogers location within the next 4 weeks. It also seems that the One X will be launching before the HTC One V and One S as they proudly say it’ll be “the first smartphone in Canada designed with Beats Audio.“
We’ll have more info for you shortly. In the meantime, check out our hands-on of the Nokia Lumia 900 here, and the HTC One X here.
