Telus trademarks ‘Telus IQ,’ a new Smart Mobility Management tool

teluswm

A new trademark has been registered by Telus, one the carrier calls “TELUS IQ Smart Mobility Management.”

The details contained in the listing related to features are sparse, however, the description notes that Telus IQ is a “software platform and software application for ordering and activating wireless hardware, and monitoring and managing wireless services.”

Telus currently has 8.4 million wireless subscribers and this could be an add-on to its mobile app or an entirely new app with enhanced features for either consumer and business customers. Internally, Telus currently uses QSM, which stands for Quantitative Software Management, and Telus IQ could be used by its employees to process customer requests.

We’ve reached out to Telus for comment and will update this story when and if we hear back.
