Where to watch the 2026 IIHF World Junior Championship in Canada

The World Juniors are back

The World Juniors are back for another year, and this time around it is taking place south of the border.

This year, the tournament is taking place in the “Twin Cities” of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. This is the first time the tournament has been in the United States since 2018, when Canada took home gold in Buffalo.

The team will be led by prospects Michael Misa, Ben Danford, Gavin McKenna, and Porter Martone, who was named captain of the team, while Cole Beaudoin and Harrison Brunicke are the assistant captains.

In net are NCAA and OHL netminders Jack Ivankovic and Carter George. For the Michigan Wolverines this season, Ivankovic has recorded a 1.90 Goals Against Average, with a .927 save percentage and a 16-4-0 record. George, on the other hand, has a 3.12 Goals Against Average with an .899 save percentage across 22 games for the Owen Sound Attack.
