Rogers is including its Satellite service at no additional cost with select plans for a limited time.
The feature, which launched in the summer, allows Canadians to connect to low-earth satellites to continue using text messaging and apps like WhatsApp and Google Maps in areas without reception. Now, you can get Satellite with the following Rogers plans:
- Popular (12 months of Satellite) — regularly $85/month with 175GB of data (plus 25GB bonus), unlimited talk and text in Canada and the U.S., and more.
- Ultimate (24 months of Satellite) — regularly $105/month with 250GB of data, unlimited talk and text in Canada and the U.S., and more.
It should be noted that Rogers Satellite normally costs $15/month, although the carrier is offering the service for $10/month for the first 12 months in its two lower-cost “Essentials” plans.
