Cineplex is launching ‘Monday Surprise Premieres,’ an event that features an exclusive mystery screening of a major new release.
On Monday, Nov. 10, theatre-goers can pay $8.99 (in-theatre price) to watch a brand new, unreleased film. Online purchases are still subject to the $1.50 online booking fee (or $1 for Scene+ members). Further, Cineclub members can use their free monthly ticket on this.
It’s worth noting that the ticket price is cheaper than typical standard admission tickets, which increased to $16 at the end of 2024.
Customers won’t know the title of the film until the lights go down. These films will be brand new and unreleased, so you probably won’t be able to guess the film ahead of time.
If you’re worried about the film’s rating, you can check Cineplex.com before the screening. Cineplex’s website also notes that the mystery films will be in 2D.
Cineplex says that tickets are selling quickly for the first Monday Surprise Premieres. If you want to buy a ticket, you can do so on the Cineplex website.
