Asus’ new ZenFone 4 and ZenFone 4 Pro are now available in Canada.
Meanwhile, the mid-range variant with a Snapdragon 630 processor, the ZenFone 4 (above), retails for $549.99 and is available through the aforementioned outlets, as well as Staples. The ZenFone 4 comes in ‘Midnight Black,’ and ‘Moonlight White’.
In addition, the 5.5-inch ZenFone 4 Max is $299.99 and available through Amazon, Best Buy, Staples, Canada Computers and Newegg. The 5.2-inch ZenFone 4 Max is $229.99 and can be purchased at Amazon, Best Buy and Newegg.
Asus’ Google Tango-enabled augmented reality smartphone, the ZenFone AR, is also now widely available at Amazon, Best Buy, Staples, Canada Computers and Newegg. The handset comes in black and costs $899.99.
Asus also notes that all of the devices will be available through MemoryExpress.
The Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie and 4 Selfie Pro, also recently announced, have yet to receive a Canadian launch date.
The flagship ZenFone 4 Pro’s front and rear is covered by 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The device is Daydream VR ready, with a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 pixel AMOLED display.
Additionally, the device features 6GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, a 3,600mAh battery and dual rear camera setup with a 12-megapixel shooter and 16-megapixel sensor with 2x optical zoom.
As for the ZenFone 4, it uses a quad-core Snapdragon 630 chipset with 4GB of RAM and a 5.5-inch IPS display with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. The handset also stocks a 3,300mAh battery and a dual rear camera setup with one 12-megapixel sensor and another 8-megapixel sensor.
