New Pokémon Go update adds daily XP and item bonuses

After weeks of silence, Pokémon Go updates are starting to hit the augmented reality mobile game at a brisker pace.

Niantic has now revealed that Pokémon Go players will soon be able to receive a daily bonus for specific daily activities, including tasks like catching Pokémon or visiting a PokéStop. Accomplishing these goals seven days in a road results in a larger bonuses.

Catching a Pokémon every day now earns an extra 500 XP, 600 Stardust , with catching a Pokémon every day for seven days straight resulting in a 2,000 XP bonus along with 2,400 Stardust. Furthermore, visiting a PokéStop and spinning the Photo Disc every day will earns 500 XP as well as extra items. And Finally visiting a PokéStop everyday for seven days in a row now earns you 2,000 XP and extra items.

In celebration of Halloween, Pokémon Go launched an event that allowed players to be more likely to catch ghost type Pokémon, along with earning additional XP per capture.
