The tentative date that Telus scheduled for Galaxy S6 users to receive Marshmallow has materialized today.
GS6 owners across the country are reporting that Android 6.0.1 is now available to download on the one-time flagship device from Samsung. This update brings Google Now on Tap, an upgraded app permissions manager, native support for fingerprint sensors and Marshmallow’s new Doze battery saving capabilities.
If you have the GS6 on Telus, press Menu > Settings > About Device > Software Update > Update.
