Looks like those rumours of Sony coming to market with a smartphone that sports a 4K display are true. In a three minute video by French site Clubic.com that has since been taken down, a Sony representative reveals the company’s intention to release three phones this year, including the previously rumoured Z5 Premium.

The all-metal and glass design of the Z5 Premium is similar to previous Sony flagship devices, but the main attraction here is that the phone will sport a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 3840×2160.

In addition, it will feature a 23 megapixel camera, a Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, a fingerprint sensor that is located on the power button, and the promise of two days of battery life—which will be interesting to see on a 4K display. In addition, the Z5 Premium, along with the two other phones Sony plans to announce, the Z5 and Z5 Compact, will all be waterproof and dustproof.

Sony will be unveiling its new devices at IFA in Berlin on September 2nd.
