Canada Post is already ramping up its delivery service this holiday season with weekend deliveries. Those expecting something spectacular this year will be pleased to hear that the crown corporation and Google have teamed up to bring users immediate access to package tracking on their mobile devices (smartphones, tablets, desktop, and wearables) via Google Now. Google will scan your email for Canada Post delivery notices and then generate a shipping notification card for your Google Now homescreen.
Canada Post estimates that it will surpass the 99 million deliveries tracked last year and hit over 165 million tracked packages by the end of the year.
