Samsung is expected to announce its latest flagship at IFA in Berlin next month. An earlier rumour pointed toward Samsung taking the stage on September 3rd… and this seems to be true. According to SamMobile, invitations that have been sent out for Samsung’s latest UNPACKED event on the 3rd at 2PM.
It’s expected that Samsung will officially unveil the Galaxy Note 4, a follow-up to the popular Galaxy Note family of devices. The Note 4 has been widely rumoured to feature a unique display that wraps around the edges so messages can be viewed at all angles — this three-sided display is an initiative that was developed Samsung’s YOUM project. In addition, the Note 4 will reportedly come with a UV sensor built into S-Heath, along with the familiar heart rate monitor and fingerprint sensor.
Other rumoured specs have the Note 4 possibly coming with a 5.7-inch QHD (2560×1440) display, Exynos 5433/Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM, 16MP camera with OIS optical image stabilization, and running Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
