Own a piece of history: Flappy Birds selling for thousands on eBay

This is spectacular and upsetting. After successfully building one of the more recent popular mobile games, developer Dong Nguyen decided to axe Flappy Birds and remove it from various app stores. Nguyen stated on Twitter that he “cannot take this anymore” after receiving and onslaught of criticism.

For those who were not able to download this piece of history you can now head on over to eBay and drop down your hard earn cash — upwards of $134,295. Owners have been flocking to the site and putting their device with the game installed up for grabs. The app was a free download and some of the prices are outrageous and have actual bidders. Perhaps those interested should save their cash and play one of these games.
