Over the past week, the Samsung Galaxy S3, Galaxy S4 and S4 mini and Note 2 all received an upgrade to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean which, among standard performance improvements and bug fixes, brought compatibility with the Samsung Galaxy Gear.
If you have the massive 6.3-inch Galaxy Mega, you need not worry about a pending device update, either. According to an internal doc we received, Rogers will be pushing out the Android 4.3 upgrade in January, also bringing Gear compatibility. The doc states, “Note: In order to be compatible, the Samsung Mega requires a software upgrade that is expected to be available as of January 2014.”
