A leaked video shows off the unannounced Samsung Galaxy S5 Active. This rugged Android seems to have a similar design to the S4 Active from last year and sport the familiar buttons on the face of the device (back, home and multitasking), plus this has been outfitted with a severe amount of rubber around the edges to prevent from damage. On the backside, Samsung has once again included a seal that ensures it’s resistant to water, dust or anything else you can imagine throwing at it.
Other specs noted in the video have it coming with a Super AMOLED display, heart rate monitor and removable battery. No word on the weight — hopefully a bit lighter than the S4 Active of 130 grams. The official model number is SM-G870A and it’s running Android OS 4.4.2 KitKat.
Update: Another video by the same person has popped up online and shows some additional specs. The camera is a 16MP camera and the display is possibly 5.2-inches with a resolution of 1080×1920, Snapdragon 801 processor with Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB RAM, runs Android OS 4.4.2 KitKat.
