Amazon has signed a 12-year agreement with Rogers for Prime Video in Canada to exclusively Wednesday night regular-season NHL games. The deal will kick off in the 2026-2027 season and includes English and French games.
As part of this arrangement, Prime Video has also secured exclusive Canadian rights to select Stanley Cup Playoff series, including two First Round playoff series and one Second Round series per year. This means that in total, at least 26 national regular-season NHL games will stream exclusively on Prime Video Canada starting Wednesday, September 30. Amazon says all of these games will be added to Prime Video at no additional cost.
Over the past two years, Prime Video has been streaming exclusive Monday Night Hockey games in Canada. This news also comes shortly after CBC ended its long-running Hockey Night in Canada program.
