If you wanted another reason to switch telecom providers, Rogers is offering baseball tickets if you activate specific phone plans.
Essentially, if you activate either a Rogers 5G+ Ultimate or Popular phone plan, you can get a pair of tickets to a Toronto Blue Jays home game.
Now, the 5G+ Popular plan costs $80/mo (with auto pay) and includes unlimited data, unlimited data/talk/text in the U.S., Mexico and the Caribbean for 24 months, unlimited calling to 27 countries, and free Rogers Satellite for 12 months.
Outside of the Blue Jays tickets, there are other benefits with the plan, like 25 per cent off Roam Like Home (incl. Travel Passes), $5/mo off Sportsnet+ for the first 24 months, and free CityTV+ for the first three months.
The 5G+ Ultimate Plan is priced at $95/mo (with autopay) for unlimited data, talk, and text in 64 destinations, unlimited calling to 27 countries, free Rogers Satellite for 24 months, and priority network access. Like the 5G+ Popular plan, there are several perks: 50 per cent off Roam Like Home (incl. Travel Passes), $5/mo off Sportsnet+ for the first 24 months, free CityTV+ for the first three months, free data-only plan for the first 24 months, and double the cash back on Rogers purchases with a Rogers Red credit card.
Now, the offer is available only to Ontario residents until July 20, 2026, or while supplies last. Rogers notes that the ticket redemption code will be emailed to eligible customers within 10 business days of the plan’s activation. Tickets (worth a combined value of $150) must be redeemed through the provided link by September 15, 2026, and are not eligible for resale, transfer, upgrade, or reimbursement.
