Samsung’s next Unpacked event will reportedly be on July 22, 2026, in London, England. While I’m excited about the location, what’s also got me looking forward to the event is the new Galaxy Z Fold Wide that’s expected to come out at the event.
The Galaxy Z Fold Wide will reportedly feature a 4:3 aspect ratio and will launch alongside the Z Fold 8 and the Z Flip 8. Samsung is looking to compete with Apple’s rumoured foldable with the Z Fold Wide, and the handset might even work with an S Pen. The S Pen stylus would work with the Z Fold Wide, but not the Z Fold 8, which will lack the hardware needed for the stylus.
The three foldables will sport One UI 9, based on Android 17, which will reportedly let users open multiple instances of the browser app on their phones, which should help a lot with multitasking.
It’s worth noting that this information is all based on leaks and rumours that I’d take it all with a grain of salt.
