Crave announced the acquisition of Saturday Night Live UK, the latest adaptation of the popular comedy show, SNL. The six-episode series premieres Saturday, March 21, and will stream new episodes weekly.
SNL UK is the first-ever UK version of the show, bringing live, fast-paced energy to British audiences, according to Crave. The series will also have a rotating slate of guest hosts and live musical performances.
The inaugural cast members are Hammed Animashaun, Ayoade Bamgboye, Larry Dean, Celeste Dring, George Fouracres, Ania Magliano, Annabel Marlow, Al Nash, Jack Shep, Emma Sidi and Paddy Young.
Hopefully, SNL UK does better than the one-season SNL Québec that aired back in 2014.
