*With the Apple Watch deal, Virgin Plus notes that the Apple Watch 11 requires an iPhone 11 or newer running iOS 26 or later. The deal also requires an eligible Virgin Plus phone plan and NumberShare, Virgin Plus’ service that lets a smartwatch share the same number as a phone, which starts at $15 per month.
When it comes to wireless plans, nothing has changed since Virgin led the charge with a $10/mo discount on its plans, forcing Fido and Koodo to follow suit. The carrier is still offering $40/50GB and $45/60GB + 10GB bonus data plans for bring-your-own-phone (BYOP) customers.
Interestingly, buying a phone outright and grabbing one of the cheaper BYOP plans can be cheaper than some of the above “deals.” For example, the iPhone 16’s $33/mo financing and $60/mo plan work out to $93/mo or $2,232 over two years. But if you pair the $40/50GB plan with an outright iPhone 16, you end up paying $1,959 over two years ($960 for the plan and $999 for the phone).
