Apple TV just got a pretty big discount for Black Friday.
Until December 1, you can get six months of the service for $6.99/month, a marked drop from the regular $14.99/month cost. The deal can be claimed on Apple’s website.
It’s a solid deal, especially since Apple TV only has one tier, compared to some streamers, like Disney+, who are only offering savings on their lowest-cost ad-enabled memberships.
It’s also been a particularly strong year for the service formerly known as Apple TV+. Severance (Season 2) and The Studio both garnered significant acclaim, including many Emmy wins, while Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan’s Pluribus premiered a few weeks ago to a similarly strong reception. And on the movie side, The Lost Bus and The Gorge drew large audiences. It should also be mentioned that one of the year’s biggest movies, the Brad Pitt-led F1, will make its Apple TV streaming debut on December 12.
