The PC Mobile Spin-off, the pre-paid focused ‘no name mobile’ has started appearing on Maxi store shelves in Quebec.
There are almost 200 Maxi stores across the province, but this is only launching in a few locations this week. The remaining locations will get access over the next few weeks. Either way, this should help Quebec residents looking for low-cost phone plans in stores. These plans and SIM cards originally launched in No Frills in 2024, but since the Loblaws-owned Maxi is more popular in Quebec, it makes it a better fit for the plans.
no name SIM cards are $5, and all plans include, unlimited calls Canada-wide and to the U.S., international texting, call display, voicemail, call waiting, and three-way calling. They start with 1GB of 4G data in Quebec for $19. If you sign up for an automatic data top-up (monthly renewals), you will get some extra data
All the plans are listed below;
- $19 – 1GB (1GB bonus with auto pay)
- $24 – 4GB (1GB bonus with auto pay)
- $29 – 25GB (5GB bonus with auto pay)
- $34 – 55GB (5GB bonus with auto pay)
- $40 – 80GB (5GB bonus with auto pay)
- $50 – 105GB (5GB bonus with auto pay)
If you sign up for one of these plans, you can manage it in the PC Mobile app, and they run on Bell’s network. You can also instantly activate a plan online with an eSIM.
