Have you signed up for Rogers satellite-to-mobile messaging beta?

Earlier this week, Rogers launched a new satellite service in partnership with Starlink that lets Canadians send text messages from anywhere in the country. Currently, Rogers Satellite text messaging is free, as you can join the beta trial at no cost. However, after the trial period, the subscription will auto-renew for $10 per month for the first 12 months and $15 per month thereafter.

Rogers satellite-to-mobile messaging lets users text from a lake, if you’re hiking, and more.

Have you signed up for the beta? Are you planning on it? Let us know in the comments below. If you don’t know how to sign up, MobileSyrup’s Brad Bennett has written a how-to; check it out.
