iPhone teases Pixel 10 in latest Google Pixel ad

It's all just a crazy coincidence, right?

With people criticizing Apple for introducing features that already exist on other devices, Google has decided to join the fun with its latest Pixel commercial.

The new #BestPhonesForever ad for the Pixel 9 Pro introduces itself as the Talking Phones Podcast Episode 240. It starts with the iPhone referring to a previous installation and mentioning, “People think I’m doing the same thing as you, but it’s all just like a crazy coincidence.” The Pixel 9 Pro quipped that this was “totally crazy.”

The iPhone then proceeded to show off all of the new iOS 26 features announced at WWDC25, such as call screening, live translation for text messages, and hold assist. The Pixel has had all of these features for over half a decade.

Towards the end of the video, the iPhone asks, “What are you working on for Pixel 10? Just like out of curiosity,” as a comedic quip about the whole situation. Google then shows off the Pixel 9 Pro at the end of the ad.

As Android Police points out, this is the first time the company has publicly teased the Pixel 10. The newest flagship device in the Pixel lineup is reportedly set for a mid-August launch and will sport three rear cameras and a 6.3-inch display.

The search giant has been running these ‘Best Phones Forever’ ads for years, with some coming across better than others. One ad even imagined a world where the Pixel and iPhone are more than just friends.

Google isn’t the only tech company poking fun at Apple. Even Microsoft decided to join the fun, posting a video on Instagram showing screenshots of the Windows 7 and Vista designs, mocking the Liquid Glass feature shown off with iOS 26.
