Apple detailed some updates coming to CarPlay at WWDC.
For starters, CarPlay is getting the new ‘Liquid Glass’ look that’s also coming to Apple’s other operating systems.
Building on that, CarPlay is getting some other quality of life improvements. There’s a new compact view for calls so they take up less of the display, access to Tapbacks and pinned conversations in Messages, widgets, Live Activities, and more.
The new features will come to CarPlay Ultra too.
Overall, it seems like CarPlay is catching up to iOS in several aspects. The new features should be welcome for CarPlay users.
