The newest iteration of Motorola's G-series will hit Canada in May

Motorola kicked off the year by announcing two new budget smartphones coming to Canada in the spring.

Both new smartphones will offer 5G and will launch in Canada on May 2nd. Motorola hasn’t yet specified with carriers or retailers will carry the new phones and the company only shared U.S. pricing — MobileSyrup inquired about additional Canadian details and will update this story when they arrive.

The two new phones are the Moto G (2025) and G Pro (2025). Both sport 120Hz displays with up to 1,000nits of brightness. The Moto G sports a 6.7-inch screen while the G Power’s is slightly larger at 6.8-inches. Both devices feature Dolby Atmos sound, a bass boost technology and “Hi-Res Audio.”
