Amazon has several of its Fire HD tablets on sale right now.
The Fire HD 8 tablet (2022) has an 8-inch HD display made of strengthened aluminosilicate glass, which Amazon claims is twice as tough as the Apple iPad mini (2021).
It runs on a hexa-core processor that is 30 percent faster than the previous gen Fire HD 8, with USB-C charging and up to 13 hours of battery life.
You can choose from 32GB or 64GB of internal storage, as both models are currently discounted and you can expand it up to 1TB with a microSD card.
The tablet features Dolby Atmos, stereo speakers and a built-in microphone.
The Fire HD 8 is available in Black, Denim and Rose colourways, though only the Black model is substantially discounted. The tablet is available starting at $89.99 (regularly $119.99)
Additionally, Amazon currently also has the 2022 Amazon Fire HD 8 Kids Pro tablet available for $139.99 (regularly $189.99).
Similar to the Fire HD 8, the Fire HD 8 Kids Pro tablet also has an eight-inch HD display, a 30 percent faster processor than its predecessor, and a long-lasting battery that can last up to 13 hours. It also comes with a colorful child-Friendly Case that protects it from drops and bumps.
You can choose between a ‘Cyber Sky’ case, a ‘Hello Teal’ case and a ‘Rainbow Universe’ case. The tablet comes with one year of Amazon Kids+, which gives access to thousands of books, games, videos, and apps that are suitable for kids between the ages of 6-12. Additionally, the kids’ tablet comes with solid parental controls that allow screen time limitation, an option to set educational goals, and management of content for up to four child profiles.
The Fire HD 8 Kids Pro tablet comes with 32GB of storage and users can expand it up to 1 TB with a microSD card.
