Federal government spent over $24.4 million on Facebook, Instagram ads between 2016 and March 2018

According to a recent report from the Canadian Press, the federal government spent approximately $24.4 million on Facebook and Instagram ads between 2016 and March 2018.

The number comes as a result of new figures tabled in Parliament on May 22nd, 2018.

The Canadian Press also reported that the federal government has been increasing its use of paid Facebook ads over the past three years.
