Earlier this month, Rogers dropped the price of its Ignite Gigabit internet service
While the carrier and ISP hasn’t further reduced the price of the package in honour of Black Friday, it is sweetening the deal in another way. From now until November 27th (that’s this Monday), Rogers is throwing in a complimentary Google Home smart speaker for any new customers that sign up for its Ignite Gigabit internet service. That’s in addition to the $70 price drop that went into effect earlier this month.
The offer is only available in Ontario, New Brunswick and Newfoundland and Labrador. The company says customers will receive their free Google Home four to six weeks after they activate their new internet service.
A one-time $14.95 activation fee is required. There’s also a one-time $49.99 installation fee, though Rogers says it will waive it. Modem rental is included in the promotional pricing.
After the first year, the cost of the service goes back up to $144.99 per month, up from $74.99 per month in the first year.
To receive this offer, call into Rogers’ customer service line or visit a Rogers retail store.
