Xplornet Communications, Canada’s leading rural broadband service provider, has been named the best company to work for in Canada’s telecommunications sector as part of Forbes’ Best Employers in Canada list.
In collaboration with statistics provider Statista, Forbes surveyed 8,000 employees across Canada. The survey identifies the top 300 employers in Canada across 25 industries, including banking, automotive and clothing.
Employees were consulted anonymously and asked how likely they would be to recommend their own companies, on a scale of 1 to 10.
Xplornet was ranked 25th best overall employer in Canada. The company is based in Woodstock, New Brunswick and has 631 employees.
Kingston, Ontario’s Queen’s University was ranked number one in the list, which currently employs 5,883 people.
